LNG Supply Station Project For Dong Tam Mien Trung Corporation

The LNG supply system for Dong Tam – Mien Trung Corporation , located in the Điện Nam – Điện Ngọc Industrial Park, Đà Nẵng, has been inaugurated and officially put into operation. This marks a significant milestone, as the LNG supply equipment was entirely researched, designed, and manufactured by Vietnamese engineers, paving the way for a new breakthrough in the domestic gas industry.

The system comprises a 100 m³ LNG storage tank and an Intermediate Fluid Vaporizer (IFV), which was directly developed and fabricated by the company’s project engineering team. A key feature of this technology is its operating principle: vaporizing LNG through an intermediate fluid and water, enabling a rapid and stable transition from –162°C to normal temperature and pressure. Unlike conventional methods, it operates independently of weather conditions while maintaining low utility costs (electricity and water). Furthermore, the cold energy generated during the IFV vaporization process can be recovered and reused for cooling applications, contributing to overall energy efficiency.
